Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At DI Construction and Renovation, we are committed to delivering high-quality construction and renovation services. Due to the nature of our work—where materials are custom-ordered and labor is time-based—traditional returns and refunds are limited. However, we strive for transparency and fairness with the following policy:

    1.    Service Deposits

 

    •    A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required before project commencement.

    •    This deposit covers planning, scheduling, materials ordering, and administration.

    •    If a client cancels the project after the deposit is paid but before work begins, a partial refund may be considered depending on administrative and material costs already incurred.

 

    2.    Material Returns

 

    •    Materials custom-ordered or specifically purchased for your project are non-returnable once installed, modified, or used.

    •    If any materials remain unopened and eligible for supplier return, we may facilitate a return, but restocking fees and return shipping costs are the client’s responsibility.

    •    Refunds for any accepted material returns will be issued within 14 business days.

 

    3.    Workmanship Guarantee

 

    •    We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of project completion.

    •    If a workmanship defect is identified within the warranty period, we will correct the issue at no cost.

    •    This does not cover damages resulting from misuse, third-party work, or normal wear and tear.

 

    4.    Cancellation of Services

 

    •    If the client cancels the project after work has started, the client agrees to pay for:

    •    All labor completed to date

    •    Any materials already purchased or installed

    •    A cancellation fee, if applicable, based on the progress of the work

 

    5.    Change Orders

 

    •    Any changes to the original scope of work must be documented and approved in writing by both parties.

    •    Additional charges or credits will be applied accordingly and must be paid in accordance with the revised agreement.

 

    6.    No Refunds for Completed Services

 

    •    Due to the customized and labor-based nature of construction work, we do not offer cash refunds for services already rendered.

    •    If issues arise, we will work with the client to address concerns through warranty service or mutually agreed-upon solutions.
